Hey C.O.P.!
Erin Jacobson here… aka Little Jake.
Over four years ago I started Crossfit, and it was love at first sight. Along the way, I’ve made some life-long friends and learned so much. I love the blood, sweat, and tears we face together. Every day we go through the same challenging wod and get the same high. It’s like a common bond that we all share. There is so much love and support in this community, and it saddens me to see some less than supportive, negative and sarcastic propaganda about fantastic people accomplishing amazing things lately. Sarcasm is only marginally better than being witless. It’s time to start focusing on the positive in people and the community!
Periodically, in between my day job as Director of Communications for Eckhart Tolle TV and my training for the Crossfit Open, I thought I’d dust off the old type-writer and polish up on the literary skills and offer another voice. So stay tuned for future posts on great achievements, community, training, nutrition, and more.
But first things first… let’s celebrate the holidays! C.O.P. Christmas party
Here are the details:
What: C.O.P Christmas Party
Where: Chill Winston
3 Alexander Street (Gastown)
When: Wednesday, December 21
Time: 7pm (We will start with dinner at Chill Winston, and then take the party downstairs to Guilt and Company)
We hope you will all come out and celebrate the holidays! It will be a great night!
Last, but not least, C.O.P. has gift certificates available for Christmas. Consider giving a gift of health, fitness, and fun that will be remembered! Pretty hard to forget your first 90 second airdyne sprint in the fitness test. Haha! They will thank you later ;-)
Have a fantastic weekend C.O.P. and see you next week!
All the best,
Jake
P.S. Please RSVP for the Christmas Party in the comments

Craig Robinson has been awesome and has set us up with reservations at Chill Winston in Gastown and grass-fed Yak (ultra-lean, 95% fat free, high omega 3 oils, high CLA’s, and low palmitic acid – and yummy I hear). I’ve never tried it before, but sounds interesting right? Thank you, Craig!
